About Dr. Zehra Husain
Dr. Zehra Husain began her dental career at Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While at Boston University, Dr. Husain excelled both academically and clinically, graduating at the top of her class in 2019. She actively participated in community outreach and held leadership roles within the dental college. Additionally, Dr. Husain contributed as a research assistant with the Department of Public Health in Boston, MA.
After graduation, Dr. Husain completed a General Practice Residency at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. There, she advanced her training in dental trauma, sedation, oral surgery, dental implants, and the management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Husain enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing the best possible care to her patients in a manner that is gentle, compassionate, and personally appropriate.
In addition to her skills, Dr. Zehra Husain is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Association for Dental Research, the American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association.
Dr. Husain is extremely comfortable treating both children and adults for family and cosmetic dentistry. She especially loves cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics, TMJ treatment, dental implants, and much more. Come on in and meet her!

Seamless dental experience! The hygienist and doctor were both very welcoming and willing to answer any and all of my questions. I found the navigation in the building to be a little confusing, but nothing concerning. Would definitely recommend, a great team!

Dr. Zehra Husain was wonderful. She saw me after the hygienist did an amazing cleaning for me! The whole staff is attentive, friendly and listen to your questions. This was huge for me as I was looking for a new long term dentist I could trust! Dr. Husain didn’t try to upsell me on anything either, which was so refreshing! I am use to the “Invisalign pitch” def recommend!

I am really frustrated with this dental office. I had an appointment scheduled, and twice they canceled on me either the night before or the day of, claiming there was no available staff. I completely understand things happen, but when I reached out to reschedule, they never responded. It's very unprofessional, and now I'm left questioning what's going on with this office.

My hygienist Kelly was so so nice and very thorough! She walked me through everything that she was doing and explained what I can do better to resolve some of the problems I was having with my teeth. Dr. Husain came in at the end and was very personable and informative! Usually I hate going to the dentist but they made it a very warm and welcoming environment.

Honestly was an amazing experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Going to the dentist, especially a new one, can be a bit daunting, but Dr. Husain and her hygienist made the experience a 10/10 and so smooth. They were great listeners and communicators, while making sure you had a clear understanding of everything that they were doing during the appointment alongside next steps. The receptionist was also great as well! I’d definitely recommend this to people looking!

For the record I left before meeting Dr. Husain but I feel like my review is still relevant. This is not a normal Dental office, its an Onsite Dental office located within a “The Parlor NYC” space which claims to be a wellness center but feels more like the Chinatown mall… a huge maze of little rooms, some actually completely empty, offering everything from waxing to dentistry. The images online are not a reflection of the actual place. I sat in the “waiting room” which is actually just a random open area where various hallways converge and isn’t at all near the dentist rooms (I honestly don’t think it even qualifies as an office) for about 25 minutes before going back up to the front desk and asking where the dentist was. The front desk lady pointed me down a hallway and disappeared leaving me to wander around for another 10 mins looking for this random room. The office acted surprised to see me… needless to say I canceled the appointment and left. Seemed like a scam of some sort.

I would strongly recommend this dentist! The hygienist I saw was amazing - she was so reassuring and understanding of my fears around teeth cleaning, explained everything she was doing so I would understand all the steps (and any potential additional costs) involved, and was quick and professional. This was by far the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office.

Onsite Dental were great. Super professional staff, quick service and flexible. They showed a lot of attention to detail and cared about the job in hand, ensuring they did the right thing for you. Dental Hygienist - Kelly was INCREDIBLE. She was so patient, gentle, and communicative. Would recommend her to anybody! She really took the time to explain everything to me, and kept asking if I was ok or had any questions. Love her!!

Dr. Husain made my dental visit easy and relaxing, which is a rare experience at most dentist offices. She is kind, warm and thoughtful about your comfort! Going to the dentist can be an unpleasant experience, but Dr. Husain made it very pleasant for me. She provided small thoughtful comforts that made such a difference such as vaseline on the lips before cleaning, numbing gel for areas where my teeth are sensitive and checking in with you throughout the cleaning process. She clearly communicated each step and next steps and really listened to my needs. The staff is also very friendly and kind! Thank you!

DR. ZEHRA HUSAIN, FANTASTIC. APPRECIATE HER BEDSIDE MATTER AND HER EXPLANATIONS AS TO HER PROFESSIONAL OPINION.
LAST DENTIST I WENT TO, TOLD ME I NEEDED 5 ROOT CANALS. THAT WAS 5 YEARS AGO. (BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT, I PAID OUT OF POCKET FOR ROUTINE CLEANINGS AND NEVER SAW THE DENTIST).
YESTERDAY, TOLD EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD. THAT ALL WE NEED TO DO IS COME BACK FOR ROUTINE CLEANING AND MONITOR A FEW THINGS UNLESS SOMETHING BOTHERS ME.

Every person in this office was super helpful. They verified my insurance prior to starting my visit without me even asking, and I honestly learned so much about dental care. They explained their findings and my options including any costs that might not be covered by my insurance. Highly recommend! Definitely found a dentist I will be sticking with.

Fantastic experience. Was informed what services I would receive in the appointment and how insurance would cover or not cover each. Every question I had was listened to and answered both regarding insurance and best dental practices. Cleaning did not feel rushed at all and was very methodical in work. Highly recommend!

I had a great first time experience with Dr. Zehra Husain, she and the rest of the staff made sure I was comfortable and understood the procedures and costs. Dr. Husain and the entire team at this location are fantastic! Came in for a cleaning and was able to fit in a few fillings and a scan for a night guard. Their tools and tech are very updated, and all of the procedures I had were smooth and pain free. The team clearly communicated with me throughout the appointment and checked in to ensure I was comfortable.

I had not seen a dentist in a while, but there was no judgement just gathering information to know what to work with. She listened and went through what we should work on.
