About Dr. Wonseok Jang

Dr. Wonseok Jang is a board-certified periodontist and the Assistant Director of the Graduate Periodontics Department at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He earned his DDS from the University of Michigan and subsequently completed his periodontics residency at Rutgers, gaining expertise in advanced, minimally invasive treatments like LANAP®, LAPIP®, and the Pinhole® Surgical Technique.
Beyond his clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Jang is deeply committed to his patients' experience. Believing that excellent healthcare requires trust and accessibility, he provides his personal cell phone number to every patient, ensuring direct access to his care. Whether he is developing patented dental technologies, teaching the next generation of periodontists, or treating a patient, Dr. Jang is driven by a singular goal: providing the highest standard of compassionate, state-of-the-art care.

Dr. Jang is a welcome addition to the Sunny Dental Care team. He is thorough and intentional with every patient. He talked me through my gum graft procedure and answered all my questions. My recovery was also easy because of his care to detail. He is also kind, pleasant, accesible, and knowledgeable. He made himself available during recovery. Total recommend from me!
