About Min Lu
Dr. Min Lu, a graduate of the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine with a Master's in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, is currently licensed to practice as an Acupuncturist in the State of Maryland. With a traditional Chinese medicine family background, she became serious about studying and practicing Chinese medicine during the 2008 Olympic Games when she saw the urgent need to relieve physical pain from sports activities-not only for athletes but also for people in general. With many years of acupuncture experience both in China and the US, Min Lu has gained a deep understanding of the history and development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as the theoretical concepts necessary to the practice of acupuncture, including Yin/Yang, the five elements, and fundamental body substances such as Jing, Qi, and Shen. In addition, she possesses knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology and basic pathology related to acupuncture.
With formal training in acupuncture and the completion of a professional educational program in a clinical health care specialty in the USA, she also holds current CPR certification and a CNT license certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

My low back hurt when I ancident on last two month ago. The first visit on may, 10, 2022, the Doctor Min Lu to treatment immediately to me, after few day, my low back hurt will be recover painful. Min Lu is a outstanding The best doctor I meet.

I had lower back pain for 10 years. Last week my back pain was worse, and I vistit Dr. Lu clinic. She's fantastic! After only one session, my lower back pain almost gone totally, and I can sleep well. I highly recommed Dr. Min Lu and her office. The staffs are great as well!

I have seen people being treated by acupuncture and getting great results but I had never tried personally until recently. The office environment is relaxing and very clean. Dr. Lu paid attention to all my concerns and worked through them. They also have massage therapist that would work on your body and it's all included in your treatment. Highly recommend!

Very professional and friendly staff and the facility is very clean and well lighted. Even though I was late, but I got treated right away. Dr. Lu is a great with needles. She also uses cupping and other healing methods if required. Ana is great deep tissue massage expert. They really know what they are doing. I felt the difference right away. Highly recommended!

Today I had my first appointment with Dr Min (at Five Elements Acupuncture & Wellness in Gaithersburg) and she was excellent. The office was immaculate, I was treated right away and she took her time to hear details about my situation and shared her steps and plan for treatment with me all along. I have never had the sort of back pain I've experienced recently (including stress levels) and have never tried acupuncture before today. I can 100% say Min shows professionalism and a gentleness that is so perfect for these circumstances. I left feeling better and hopeful for my overall healing process. Five stars, I highly recommend!
