About Dr. Aaron Fritzhand

Originally from Smithtown, New York, Dr. Aaron J. Fritzhand earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University. He completed his residencies in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati. Since finishing his training in 1993, he has been practicing in Cincinnati. Dr. Fritzhand joined Cincinnati Foot & Ankle Care in 1998 after several years in private practice in the area. He provides comprehensive foot and ankle care, including foot surgery, diabetic foot care, and wound care. Within the community, he is actively involved with the DPM Mentors Network, supporting local pre-health students interested in pursuing careers in podiatric medicine and surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Fritzhand enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, biking, and playing ice hockey. He and his wife, Laurel, have three children.
