About Dr. Aaron Fritzhand
Dr. Aaron J. Fritzhand, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who has been practicing in Cincinnati since completing his residency in 1994. Originally from Smithtown, New York, he joined Cincinnati Foot & Ankle Care in 1998 after several years in private practice.
He provides comprehensive care in foot surgery, diabetic foot management, and wound care. Dr. Fritzhand is also dedicated to mentoring future podiatrists through his involvement with the DPM Mentors Network, supporting local pre-health students exploring careers in podiatric medicine.
He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency training at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis and Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and an active member of several professional associations.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Fritzhand enjoys traveling, biking, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his wife, Laurel, and their three children.
