About Dr. Aaron Handa
Dr. Aaron Handa is a podiatrist with Bay Area Foot Care.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis in 2017. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in 2022. Dr. Handa completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Palo Alto in 2025.
Dr. Handa offers advanced medical and surgical care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. His clinical focus includes bunion surgery, diabetic foot care, trauma, sports medicine, wounds, regenerative treatments, plantar plate repair, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He is trained in Lapiplasty® procedures and is experienced in arthroscopy, podiatric surgery, and the use of technologies such as shockwave and scarfplasty.
He is passionate about helping patients return to activity with improved comfort and function through evidence-based care and personalized treatment plans.
