About Dr. Aaron Kwan

Dr. Aaron Kwan, O.D. is a Therapeutic and Glaucoma certified Optometrist. He is a Bay Area native and enjoys being able to serve the community he grew up in. Dr. Kwan received his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry from Marshall B. Ketchum University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He has previously worked with the Veteran's Affairs Hospitals in Palo Alto and Los Angeles, small community clinics, pediatric clinics, and a specialty Low Vision clinic. In addition to general optometry and contact lens fitting, he has an interest in treating ocular disease, providing Low Vision services for patients with advanced ocular conditions, and getting involved with community work. Dr. Kwan is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), California Optometric Association (COA), as well as the San Mateo County Optometric Society (SMCOS). Along with English, Dr. Kwan also speaks conversational Cantonese and Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, softball, running, cooking, as well as performing and recording music.
