I will definitely go back since the experience made me feel more hopeful that I can have reduced amount of pain around my neck and shoulders due to over use. I only had one treatment and I felt the difference after two to three days … I have been told that I need few treatments since I came to the office with chronic pain around my neck and shoulders. So , I can’t wait for my next visit !!”

Dr. Abbey Jo Shulkin DAOM, L.Ac., was born in Central New York. While attending Parson’s School of Design in Paris she met her husband at a cafe by the Eiffel Tower and shortly thereafter moved to The Hague in The Netherlands where she learned Dutch and worked as a professional photographer and graphic designer and later was the owner of a beauty and nail spa. Next to being an independent business woman Abbey trained daily to run half marathons. Her first encounter with acupuncture was due to a sports related knee injury that she sought treatment for. As she lay there on the treatment table Abbey thought that she would someday like to specialize in acupuncture because it helped relieve pain in a natural way. When the opportunity presented itself to study acupuncture in Miami in 2018, she jumped on it and never looked back. Dr. Shulkin graduated with a combined Bachelor and Master of Science in health science, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and is currently a doctorate candidate at the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine. Today Abbey combines her interests in health, sports and beauty by specializing in all natural facial rejuvenation, sports injuries, digestive disorders and pain management.

Doc Abbey was awesome. I have a severe injury in my abdomen and have been in pain for a long time. She was very careful about my injury and helped relax me. My pain levels have dropped after our appointments and I've been more calm. Highly recommend even with intense injuries. She will work very carefully with you and make sure the treatment is tailored to you.

I saw Abbey Shulkin because of terrible pain in my neck and shoulders from sitting in front of a computer for hours at a time. It was extremely uncomfortable to move my head from side to side. After treatment I immediately had my range of motion back and the pain was gone.
Abbey is a very talented and caring professional. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Abbey is very thorough and has a nice technique. I had a facial acupuncture face lift and I saw results almost immediately. She did acupuncture on other pain points on my body as well as did facial cupping. Please give her a try. You won’t be disappointed.
