About Dr. Abby Paloma Rosenbaum

I am a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, herbalist, yoga teacher, meditator, gardener, local food advocate, cook, and artist. I earned my Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, and my Bachelor’s from New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study. My classes and acupuncture practice bring together my skills and interests in service of the health and healing of my students and patients. I treat a wide variety of ailments, including women’s health, autoimmune conditions, digestive issues, orthopedic injuries, and pain management. Our time together is a collaboration. I meet my patients and students where they are on their health journey, and through acupuncture, herbs, food, and lifestyle recommendations, I invite them to harmonize and heal their whole selves. Human bodies fascinate me, as does our quest to live in harmony with ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth. I know that pain, disease, loss, and heartache are inherent to life, but I believe people deserve lives not dominated by physical and emotional pain. I hold this vision for each of my patients and students. It is my calling to guide toward healing, nourishing, and harmonious living. Through my own life practice, I have developed a deep belief in the medicinal power of rest. A central focus of my work is teaching restorative yoga. By focusing on nourishment, restoration, stillness, and ecologically harmonious living, we can unlock well-being that supports ethical ecological consumption and leads to freedom and genuine peacefulness. One of my main passions and specialties is women’s health. I believe a healthy menstrual cycle is the foundation of a woman’s overall harmony. Many women suffer from menstrual dysfunction or face infertility challenges. Chinese medicine treats these challenges with remarkable success.

There are only few occasions in life when our path is crossing the one of really talented people. I can’t be more grateful for the care provided all these years by Abby. She has a gift.
Abby is an outstanding practitioner! Her compassion, care and knowledge shine in every interaction; I truly feel safe while under Abby's care.
