Dr. Abby Wright has been a licensed audiologist for 18 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Indiana State University in 1999, followed by her Doctor of Audiology degree from Ball State University in 2003. She has practiced in a variety of settings, including hospitals, ENT offices, and private practices. Dr. Wright has extensive experience in diagnostic audiological evaluations for adults and pediatrics (including special populations), vestibular evaluations, and the fitting, modifications, and adjustments of hearing aids. She joined Hearing Doctors of Illinois from Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital in Mattoon. Raised on a farm in Manilla, Indiana, Dr. Wright has spent the last 14 years providing quality hearing healthcare to the residents of Central Illinois. She is passionate about delivering top-notch hearing healthcare services to rural communities, where access to quality care often requires traveling long distances. She loves a challenge, especially at work. Outside of work, Dr. Wright enjoys spending time with friends and family, music and concerts, traveling, reading, and cooking.
