What should a new client know about working with you?

** FOR ALL MEDICATION PERSCRIPTIONS YOU MUST HAVE PROOF OF PAST MEDICATION BEING GIVEN IN ORDER TO RECIEVE** I am currently seeing patients via telehealth and in person. I'm available on weekdays and evenings. I am flexible & offer same-day appointments. I see clients facing challenges such as depression or trauma stemming from their relationships or family dynamics. In our initial sessions, we'll thoroughly explore the issues at hand, and jointly devise a personalized plan aimed at restoring balance to your life. Many of my clients experience a gradual alleviation of symptoms within the first month, with ongoing improvement thereafter. I encourage clients to trust and verbalize what needs to be known to help in their evaluation and plan of care. We are empathetic and treat with respect and safety in mind.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Before your appointment, both new and existing patients will receive measures via email that need to be completed. This allows us ample time during the session to discuss general assessments, therapy options, and your personalized plan of care. You have the choice of being seen from the comfort of your home through telehealth or scheduling an in-person appointment. During our session, we'll explore the reasons for seeking help and discuss how you're feeling. The measures, combined with in-session assessments, play a crucial role in the diagnostic process. For new clients, sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, while existing clients can expect sessions to range from 20-30 minutes, depending on individual needs. Our approach involves talk therapy and medication education. We also collaborate with other specialties to ensure comprehensive care, promoting our client's ability to function well independently.
