“Dr. Gardner was able to quickly diagnose my condition and his exam was very thorough and professional. He is a good listener and you feel he really cares. I was seen promptly and when I got lost coming over to the appointment he personally got on the phone and assisted me with directions. I had a quick follow up appointment to handle a significant eye infection and he told me to give him a call anytime if I felt my condition was worsening. Dr. Adam Gardner grew up in Bergen County in nearby Closter, NJ, and graduated from NVRHS Demarest. After completing his undergraduate education at Lehigh University, where he earned his bachelor's degree, he obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1997. As an optometrist, Dr. Gardner cared for patients in NYC for over 25 years. In 2019, he decided to move back to New Jersey to join Hillsdale Vision Center. He currently lives in Montvale, NJ, with his wife and two daughters.

? I have been a patient at Westwood ophthalmology for years, but noticed how much more difficult and less personable the staff was. I was switched around to different doctors never saw the same doctor twice but they were fine but I felt rushed.
I looked at other doctors in my area and made my appointment, but didn’t really expect much. I was happily surprised with how friendly and professional the front desk staff was and very happy with the doctor. He was awesome. It was nice to not feel rushed and definitely listened to- he explained things well and not condescendingly, like some other doctors have. I definitely want to stay with this practice! Thank you.
