Getting to know Dr. Adam Rowe
Dr. Rowe is an adult psychiatrist with a primary interest in helping patients feel comfortable and heard during appointments. Establishing trust and being responsive to people’s needs is central to his practice of medicine. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine before completing a psychiatry residency as chief resident at University of Toledo Medical Center. His interests and expertise are in general adult psychiatric medicine with special interest in helping patients navigate depression, anxiety, OCD, and LGBTQ+ cultural issues. He provides management of prescription medications along with supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy during every interaction.
Working with a broad range of conditions, Dr. Rowe approaches every person as a unique individual with options and needs that can only be met through collaboration and effective communication. All treatment plans are developed together in an environment that is respectful and professional. He has a warm and personable approach and looks forward to helping people achieve their best selves.
