Dr. Adanna Ukazu is a Board-certified OBGYN and a fellowship-trained Addiction Medicine specialist. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in Addiction Medicine at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from City University of New York, Lehman College. Dr. Ukazu treats all forms of substance use disorder and is a strong believer in the harm reduction model.

I will not go to this doctor again. Her receptionist was very rude and she never spoke to me about issues with my insurance until the day of my appointment. I lost a day of work and was not able to be seen. I will not be back. Very poor communication with the patients and very rude staff.

The doctor was very fast and conscious of my time while also listening to my questions and invited further discussion of my care plan. I felt seen and she made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend her if you too bring a list of things to talk about during an appointment and like a personal approach to medicine.
