A qualified cardiologist, Dr. Aditya Mangla graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received his medical degree. Post this, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. He also completed two fellowships at the same institute, one in interventional cardiology and the other in cardiovascular medicine in 2011. Additionally he is active in academics and research. He serves as the Associate Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and is the Associate Cardiac Cath Lab Director at Jamaica Hospital in Queens. Dr. Mangla is an accomplished practitioner, certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also an active member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, American College of Physicians, the American Society of Echocardiography as well as the American Society of Nuclear Medicine and Cardiac CT. Passionate about medicine, he constantly keeps himself up-to-date on the most progressive techniques available for both cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diseases. A competent interventional cardiologist, Dr. Mangla brings extensive experience to his role at Medex Diagnostic and Treatment Center. Serving the locals of Forest Hills, NY, he encourages his patients to lead healthy lifestyles, thus enabling them to take responsibility for their cardiac health. He is dedicated to his profession and believes that people need to be educated and made aware of their health issues.

Great doctor. However office is highly busy and lots of interruptions while speaking to the doctor by different nurses or staff. Over 1 he wait time. Other then that the doctor himself is amazing. Great listener and also takes necessary steps to figure out the problem and best solution.

Very busy office. Not sure how effective of a care they can give with such demand. Preliminary Nurse’s checks were the ordinary, friendly and quick. The doctor I saw is a very good specialist. He surprisingly gave me enough time and asked essential probing questions. He gave me stern and helpful medical advice.

Dr. Mangla was excellent today! This was my first time seeing him. Everything I expected from a young vibrant Cardiologist. He made it his business to keep me calm and assure me everything will be okay. He set expectations and a plan of care with me. He was very curious and inquisitive in our conversation to try and learn my good and bad habits. I would highly recommend Dr. Mangla and his staff. They work very hard and swift to try and see everyone and in a professional and polite manner.

The doctor is fine, the staff is terrible. The medical assistant tried to do. EKG with no gloves she refused to give me a gown for my own comfort. The staff is very rude they do not have any well manners. They rush everything. I was undressed in a room and other staff members were just walking into the room with out knocking mind you I did not have a gown. I work in the medical field all of this was EXTREMELY unprofessional. Again the provider Dr mangla is okay, a bit condescending but he’s fine and welcoming. The staff was terrible.

Doctor was polite and writing by hand in the files after talking to me. unlike other doctors who give more time on their devices to input info on their patients. Although he is young, he prefers writing on the files. this method is old fashion, but better for patients because doctors give more quality time with their patients. Doctor very polite and explained my results.

Very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, capable, hip, and supportive!! I felt taken care of, heard, and respected. He took his time to explain everything, include me in the treatment plan, and he even went out of his way to set me up with his colleague and specialist. 10/10 recommend!
