Your well-being and healing depend on the stability of both your physical and mental health. Patients can expect a structured and supportive experience that mirrors an in-person session. You may be asked to complete intake forms or questionnaires beforehand. The session starts with introductions, and the PMHNP will explain how the session will go and ensure your environment is private and secure. I will review telehealth-specific consent, including Confidentiality rules & HIPAA compliance. I will complete the Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment. After the assessment, they may share initial impressions or provisional diagnoses. Together, we will discuss Treatment options and the next steps. You'll have time to ask questions about your symptoms, the plan, or medications.
