After finishing an undergraduate degree in biology at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Dr. Adrianne Powell earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Powell, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, has been in practice since 2002 and provides primary care for adult patients (18 and older). She treats patients for acute ailments, including urinary tract infections and tendonitis, and chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
