About Dr. Aime Dahan

I provide compassionate, individualized evidence based care in metabolic health and obesity medicine, with a focus on improving overall health and well-being. My approach combines evidence-based nutrition, physical activity, behavioral strategies, and proficient and judicious use of weight-loss medications, including GLP-1 therapies and other medications. Each patient receives an initial comprehensive evaluation to understand the underlying contributors to excess weight and to evaluate for weight related health complications. I believe patients should be equal partners in their care, and I work collaboratively with each person to develop a treatment plan that is effective and aligned with their goals and their life situation. I received my medical degree from Université de Montréal and pursued my family medicine residency at McGill University. I later pursued advanced training in metabolic and obesity medicine and am board certified in Obesity medicine I have cared for diverse populations in Canada, Israel and the United States, experiences that have strengthened my commitment to providing empathic, respectful, individualized and culturally sensitive care. In this respect, I am committed to your long-term success, supporting you every step of the way, helping you navigate obstacles, adjust your treatment plan and continue moving toward your goal Dr Dahan does not take insurance or have any direct interaction with insurance companies. Through Dr Dahan’s online portal, AdvancedMD, you will be able to receive an electronic receipt you may submit to your insurance plan once you have paid for treatment. If you have out of network coverage or reimbursement, we recommend you call your individual health insurance plan before scheduling an appointment to find out if you have out-of-network coverage, information about your out-of-network deductible and adjusted rates of reimbursements for visits. Insurance does not typically cover the full cost of the visit.
