“I have been reluctant to find a PCP, based on past experiences, but with the way my diagnoses have been going, I need one. Enter Dr. Kanwal - she listened to everything I had to say, I didn't feel rushed or made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. She read through the information I brought with me (a folder of previous labs, scans, visit notes from my specialists, etc) and asked clear follow up questions. She said on this journey of everything I've been learning/diagnosed with, I do need to have a PCP for centralized care, but 'you're doing everything right'. And she said it's taking the whole person into account, which I really appreciate. The validation and understanding from a health care professional in my experience is rare. She made a clear path for our next steps and explained why she ordered which labs she did, and what steps I need to take before our followup.

Dr. Kanwal is the only provider that truly listened to my chronic health concerns AND took my experiences with pain/healing into account when collaborating with me on a treatment plan that is realistic, measurable, and achievable. I enjoyed the experience so much I have scheduled an appointment for my spouse to establish PCP care with her. The office staff were all very helpful and down to earth. I felt comfortable communicating with them.

I never felt rushed, and she made sure all of my questions were answered before the end of my visit. Her compassionate approach and attention to detail made me feel comfortable and confident in my care.
