“The doctor was in and out of the exam room in a jiffy. He froze several spots and told me to come back in 4 months. He said his assistant would explain how to use the topicals he was prescribing. Not a great conversationalist, but then I guess the diagnosis and treatment is more important that a "Chatty Chuck". ”

Dr. A and staff were very nice. I felt that he listened to me and did not rush out. He answered my questions and overall was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wait time was a bit long, but it's worth waiting for a doctor who will not rush once it's your time.

Well, for a dermatologist, he sure doesn't like to touch anyone. Not one finger was ever put on me. I told him about how my mole got super enlarged, scabby, even bled like crazy and that it had completely come off after a shower twice, with it bleeding profusely. BUT because the mole had just come off, it looked better but he said "Looks like you either scratched it or it had a small cyst under it and it bust." Really? Said, "As long as it isn't scabbed over or bleeding, I'm not going to worry about it." Did he miss the whole conversation I just had about it turning really itchy, scabbed up and BLED??? I asked about the sore on my ear where it looks like it is being eaten by something, but that's just a "scratch" too. And the freckle on my face that scabbed up and now is a sore that hurts to touch, it's just a "scratch" too. The sore in the corner of my mouth that I have had for 2 months, you wouldn't believe, it's a "scratch" too. Really? This was a waste of time and money.

While the office experience as a whole was good, I found the actual interaction with the doctor to feel rushed.
I did not get the feeling the doctor took time to thoroughly examine my skin. In fact, it felt as though my asking him to freeze some growths off were an inconvenience.
This was my first visit to this office and doctor and it was possibly a busy day for him, but I felt so rushed that I forgot to ask him a couple questions that I meant to. My fault for not bringing a list I guess.
