He left no stone on turned!!
Before anything, Dr. Schrager sat down with me in his office to discuss the nature of the visit, not in an exam room but his own office, which made it so much more relaxed. He was thorough in his questions and examination and didn't "jump to conclusions" until all results were processed and received. I would highly recommend Dr. Schrager for anyone seeking urological help
He was professional & exhibited knowledge of the problem & hopefully work together towards a resolution of the problem
My experience at the appointment was great. It's only afterwards that i regret going. Based on my search here on zocdoc Dr Schrager claims to be in network. In my network there is no copay and no patient responsibility for payment. What he meant was he will take my insurance payment and send me a bill for the rest. I feel let down by zocdoc and Dr Schrager for misleading me on what an in network doctor means. I guess ultimately the fault lies on me for not double checking with my insurance company. Either way i wont be using zocdoc or Dr Schragers services again.
Dr. Schrager is excellent and takes the times to discuss and explain everything in a way that makes me comfortable.
Dr. Schrager was great, he break everything down for you to understand, he's very patients and he treat each and everyone of his patients with respect! !!
Dr Schrager seems nice. He spent a good amount of time with me but I left very unsure if I had wasted my time or not. Ultimately, I came in to get a specific treatment and left with nothing but a "lets make another appointment for 2 weeks time". I can't tell if he is just trying to stretch one appointment into two for his own benefit or not. I really don't like a "lets wait and see" approach when I am suffering. I haven't decided if I am going to go back for the second appointment to see if he will give the treatment I asked for. He did give me an examination that I didn't ask for and confirmed that I didn't have any conditions which I didn't think I had to begin with. I guess some doctors want to treat what they want to treat. I felt a bit like what I had to say didn't matter. I thought it would save time if I brought the results of a previous blood test with me but for some reason, he seemed to dismiss them along with what I had to say. His waiting room was totally empty so I got seen straight away but, while convenient, this is rarely a good sign.
He was professional and he made me feel really comfortable. The staff was friendly even when I miss two of my appointments. I would definitely recommend Dr. Schrager.
I'm going back…so that's a good sign.
