After completing undergraduate studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Alani continued her education, earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. She is currently enrolled in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant Diplomate Fellowship Program.

The appointment was very quick, and while the staff was professional, my main concern was not resolved. I was seeking treatment for persistent facial hair and hoped for more discussion of alternatives before using laser treatment options and next steps.

I expressed multiple concerns and had to push for referrals or solutions rather than being given a thorough overview.
The facility and staff were nice overall- it just felt like the provider was in a rush to get in and out with little consultation.

for my trans and gender nonconforming friends, there is a place for your preferred name, but do make sure to state your preferred name at check in with your legal last name. at the time of making the appt, there wasn't a place for it, but in my check in paperwork there was!
otherwise, very nice and professional. listened to me talk about my condition and concerns. she gave me options for in case our first try doesn't help. and the room itself was cute.
