What should a new client know about working with you?

I use evidence-based approaches and work from a whole-person perspective. With OCD, I approach ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention therapy) through a focus on compulsive worry. I am trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems therapy) and regularly integrate this approach into my work. Specific areas/search terms: HOCD, SO-OCD, sexual orientation OCD, ROCD, relationship OCD, POCD, intrusive thoughts, violent thoughts, retroactive jealousy, real event OCD; somatic OCD; BFRB, TTM, hair-pulling, skin-picking; social anxiety, health anxiety, hypochondriasis, body dysmorphic disorder, relationship issues

What is your typical process for working with clients?
