About Alexandra Castiglione

Alexandra, a Board-certified acupuncturist, comes from a long background in therapeutic massage, cupping, tui na, and yoga. She specializes in postural pain, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and mental-emotional disorders. Her passion for Chinese medicine began at a young age while working for an acupuncturist who introduced her to the philosophy and lifestyle of Daoism. She embraced all aspects of the medicine and felt it addressed the root of the imbalances in her life without offsetting anything else. It made sense to her, so she followed her intuition and now works to create opportunities for others to do the same in their lives. Alexandra completed her Master's in Oriental Medicine at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Evanston, IL, where she practiced the Five Element acupuncture technique along with Channel theory. While in school, Alexandra was under mentorship learning Japanese-style acupuncture, treating fertility, pain, and even more chronic conditions such as patients undergoing cancer treatment and long-term illness. Alexandra is enthusiastic, compassionate, and helps bridge the gap between Western and Eastern medicine.

Alex is amazing! I had been dealing with muscular issues and recovery. (I'm an endurance athlete) She's been able to help, also introducing me to cupping. She's also been able to help with other things like stress and allergies. I've really enjoyed how relaxing and effective this has been for me.
