About Dr. Alexandra LaRocca
Our goal at Island Foot & Ankle is to provide you with quality, timely and cost-effective healthcare in a pleasant, professional and a patient focused environment. Our Physicians and my staff work together as a team to bring you the highest quality treatment in a warm and caring setting. At our practice the patient is our primary concern, and we pride ourselves on providing personal and friendly care. We are dedicated to healing and fully educating you about your foot and ankle health needs.
Dr. Alexandra LaRocca is a podiatrist catering to the foot and ankle needs of the people of Long Island. She practices at multiple locations of Island Foot & Ankle and is an active member of the St. Catherine's of Siena Medical Center Wound Care Center where she provides patients with advanced wound care treatment and modalities. She spends time with her patients to explain their condition and give every suitable option available to them before moving on to surgery.
A recipient of several awards and honors, Dr. LaRocca is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association. She is friendly, open-minded and always open to seeing things from a different perspective.
Dr. LaRocca completed her bachelor's degree at SUNY Binghamton. She received her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She supplemented her medical training by completing a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. She is of the belief that knowledge empowers patients and hence, actively engages in educating her patients about their health.

Staff greeted me and took my information with a smile on their face. They were prepared to answer any questions I had. The office was clean and tidy. There was no real delay in getting in to see the doctor. Once in the room, the wait was maybe five minutes and the doctor came in. She was clear and ?what she was asking so she could assess my injury. She explained with great clarity what my injury was, how it should be treated and how long I should expect it to hurt before it healed. She gave me several recommendations along with exercises, but also wrote them down so that I had them in writing before I left the office. Her bedside manner was excellent and her clear and intelligent explanations were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Dr. LaRocca was absolutely amazing. I promptly advised her that I had some prior bad experience with another provider many years ago and I have been avoiding returning to a podiatrist since. She was very gentle both physically and verbally has she observed my problem. I feel confident in the diagnosis she gave me and she was very educated on the topic.

As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Larrocca is excellent. She treated my wife, now myself. She suggested orthopedic innersoles for me. They have worked out well for me. She is now working on toe problem. I like early appointments & she accomodates you.
