About Dr. Alexis Curreri
Alexis T. Curreri, MD attended Jefferson Medical College where she graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical honor society. She completed her internal medicine internship at Lankenau Medical Center before moving to Brooklyn, NY for her Dermatology residency. She trained at SUNY Downstate where she served as chief resident. Dr. Curreri is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Curreri provides complete dermatologic care including medical, surgical, and cosmetic services. She enjoys seeing both pediatric as well as adult patients. Additionally, she has a special interest in anti-aging techniques, including neuromodulators and filler.
Dr. Curreri was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She graduated from The Lawrenceville School before attending Duke University, where she graduated cum laude.
She currently lives in Wayne with her husband and 2 young children.

Dr. Curreri was really nice, helpful, and seemed very knowledgeable. I really liked her and can definitely see myself going back to see her again. However, her office staff was really unprofessional. While I was in the waiting room, I overheard staff members making fun of another patient's looks and laughing about something she said. I understand that healthcare workers often do this, but it was upsetting to be reminded of this before my appointment. I had interacted with the patient they were laughing at in the waiting room, and this woman was beautiful. It made me feel self-conscious before my appointment, considering that they surely would be making fun of me next. These staff members need to realize that everything they say is heard in the waiting room. Dr. Curreri was not with these staff members. She was very nice and professional in my interactions with her and I really liked her. However, the other staff members were horrible and need to stop judging people for their looks.

Dr. Curreri provided me a level of comfort and ease when having to discuss a sensitive issue as my hair loss! She reviewed all the factors and series of events that lead up to my hair loss, then provided an expert opinion and short term resolution. I left the office feeling hopeful with a plan to execute. The staff were as friendly as could be, which is hard to find! Thank you!

My experience was excellent. My history was reviewed and I was asked if I wanted to have a total body screen in addition to the issue that I wanted to discuss. This was totally appropriate since I had missed my annual screen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Having the screen done at the time of this appointment saved me from returning for another visit. I was very pleased with Dr. Curreri's thoroughness and skill. This was my first visit to Dr. Curreri and I will definitely return for future dermatological problems and for my annual screen. In addition, followup regarding test results was prompt and satisfactory.
