About Dr. Ali Askari
Dr. Askari has been in private practice since 1991. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine. He received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada-Reno and his M.D. from the World University Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He did his internship and residency in internal medicine, and his cardiology fellowship, at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Askari has many institutional, departmental, and division responsibilities as well as holds prestigious memberships in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic, Cath Lab, and Quality Assurance committees at Phoenix Memorial Hospital, and the Executive Medical Committee, Cath Lab, Cardiology, and Fellowship committees at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. He is an active medical staff member at Phoenix Regional Medical Center, St. Luke's Hospital , St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, and Payson Regional Hospital as well. Dr. Askari is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and member of the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, and Arizona Medical Association. He has established clinics in rural Arizona neighborhoods and communities such as South Mountain, Quartzsite, Payson, and Globe.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Askari, and I can honestly say he is outstanding. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and, above all, genuinely kind. He took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel at ease, showing real care and attention. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of care.
Going into the appointment, I had a few concerns after reading some negative reviews about the office staff. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Every single person I interacted with during my visit was professional, friendly, and caring, which made a big difference to my experience.
One of the highlights for me was the efficiency of the office. I was able to get all the necessary exams in one visit—my echocardiogram and stress test were both completed on the same day, and everything was done quickly which made the whole process stress-free.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Askari and his team. They provide excellent care, and I truly felt valued as a patient.

Cancelled my appointment because she was on the phone with her mom for 7 minutes I heard the whole entire conversation I was sitting right beside the check in desk as I have 2 bones spurs and I need surgery and when I said can you check me in please instead of ignoring me she yelled at me and threatened to cancel my appointment, I said I heard you said no mommy don’t drink coke drink water , I’ve been waiting 7 mins to be checked in while you were on the phone with your mom she told me I could see another provider looked at the receptionist next to her which is a different dr and canceled my appointment after driving an hour there and coming in an hour early even as she requested me to. And then ignored me, she said she was in the back helping a patient, but she was eating
