I will most likely be going back- even though it’s very far from home. The doctor is one of very few that my insurance company will allow me to see, & I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly, which was great because I have been in pain for a while now. I was grateful for the staff being knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr. Qadeer is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in sports injuries and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Qadeer is especially trained in shoulder surgery ranging from arthroscopic repairs to complex open shoulder reconstructions. He has a particular interest in shoulder arthroplasty.
Dr. Qadeer is a native Houstonian and graduated Magna Cum Lauda from the University of Houston, The Honors College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Qadeer completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Orthopedic Surgery residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. During his residency he was awarded a traveling fellowship with the EFORT Foundation which took place in Bern, Switzerland with distinguished shoulder surgeon, Professor Ralph Hertel. He then went on to complete an ACGME accredited sports medicine fellowship at the San Diego Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine fellowship.
Dr. Qadeer has experience covering athletes at various levels. Dr. Qadeer has covered sideline matches/games for the Houston Sabercats, San Diego State Aztecs, San Diego Legion, San Diego Gulls and Second Baptist High School. He currently serves as the head team physician for Elsik High School.
Dr. Qadeer follows a team-based approach and believes the patient should be involved in a shared decision making process. Prior to surgical decision-making, he believes all non-surgical treatments should have been explored and considered. Dr. Qadeer's mission is to help his patients return to the active lifestyles that their injuries are hindering them from.
In his free time, Dr. Qadeer enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and staying active. He enjoys running, hiking, camping, playing basketball and golf.
Dr. Qadeer is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Texas Orthopaedic Association and the Western Orthopaedic Association.

Not a very reliable doctor. He seemed confused about very normal XRays and barely talked to me about my issue before referring me to another doctor. The second doctor assumed someone had already updated me about my problem when I had been waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to tell me what’s happening. He proceeded to tell me incorrect information as well. Had to change orthopedists because Texas Regional Physicians was definitely not for me. They were very nice people though. Good luck everyone!

Dr. Qadeer was great at listening to my issue and helpful in his diagnosis without pushing unnecessary, costly diagnostics or treatments. My experience in the office was great.
I knocked off a star because the doctor didn't follow through in prescribing me the anti inflammatory medication we had discussed in the apppointment. I've called his office twice in the last few days since to try to remedy the situation, leaving voicemails for his nurses both times, and it still hasn't been resolved. Likewise, messages sent though their online portal have also gone unanswered.
If the doctor and his staff can fix the post visit communications issue, they would get my ringing endorsement.

Staff was friendly. They offered me a payment plan on a very minimal bill. THAT'S UNHEARD OF, I love this place. The staff inside the rooms were friendly and made me feel at ease. Doc shook my hand and got down to business. I hope I don't have to go back but I wouldn't hesitate if I had to. I had to wait a little longer than expected but they apologized and I was ok with it

From the moment I arrived I was greeted and the front desk person asked for ID and insurance. She made copy of report I brought from ER.
Then wait time was short, and then had vitals taken, provided some additional info as to my injury. The staff was friendly and professional.
The doctor waa excellent in communicating, listening, and assuring that my injury should improve within a few weeks. He explained what I should do and shouldn't be doing.
I will definitely be referring him to friends and family who may need an orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Ali was amazing. He took the time to listen to my concerns and took his time explaining what he thinks is going on. He explained to me that he wanted to try a few things before jumping into surgery, which I appreciate alot. But that surgery may be the only fix. I will continue to keep visiting Dr Ali. His office staff was great as well. Office was bright, spacious and clean.
