About Dr. Alicia Carter
Dr. Carter is an award-winning TOP DOCTOR specializing in NON-OPERATIVE orthopedics and Regenerative Medicine, including STEM CELL and PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) therapy. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. Dr. Carter completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. He further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in Interventional Spine, Sports, and Orthopedic Rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Listened to my problems, performed a physical exam, and came to a diagnosis with a treatment plan. Very kind with fantastic bedside manner. It was great to have 1 hr to talk with her and get a comprehensive exam with a top doctor. Thanks, Dr. Carter.

Terrific experience. Knowledgeable, friendly doctor who took the time necessary to examine and diagnose my condition and thoroughly discuss treatment options and recommendations. Would recommend her to anyone needing a spine/orthopedics specialist.

The whole experience was outstanding. Dr Carter is deeply knowledgable, efficient and approachable, and treated me with extreme professionalism, clearly explaining each step and looking for solutions. She took the time needed to look into every possibility and I felt very much part of the process. She referred me to an on-site physical therapist who was able to see me immediately, and was AMAZING! Dr. Carter's receptionist also provided truly exceptional service, checking in by phone before the appointment and going above and beyond to help me change the address registered with my insurer and giving me a clean copy of my insurance card. The whole process was the most professional, efficient and confidence-inspiring I have ever experienced in the US.

Very helpful and knowledgable. Helped me get an MRI at a reasonable price because I was uninsured. Gave me exercises to help with weaknesses. Called me right away with the results from my MRI because she knew I was nervous about the results. Her advice led me to a speedy recovery.

Dr. Carter was extremely thorough and genuinely wanted to understand everything that was happening. She asked lots of questions, performed a thorough examination, called my doctors for additional records and rendered a very thoughtful opinion on my diagnosis. She then laid out for me some of the options that were available for treating me. Dr. Carter showed me the exercises in the program she recommended and gave me worksheets for reminders at home. Dr. Carter performed two spinal injections at the time of my visit which seemed to target the exact locations where my symptoms were most severe. I would Highly recommend Dr. Carter!
