I have always been fascinated by the field of mental health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, my family practice clients were waiting 6+ months to receive treatment for their mental health symptoms. I wanted to make a difference in people's lives and help my clients. I knew it was time to return to college and obtain my postmaster's certificate in psychiatry. I utilize motivational interviewing and CBT techniques to help clients actualize their goals. During the first session, we will spend about an hour getting to know you. We will talk about what you are currently experiencing, past experiences, and discuss diagnosis and treatment options.
