Alisha Liggett, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 10 years of experience working as a physician and educator in the tri-state area. She graduated with a BA in African American Studies from Columbia University, then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Campus in Bronx, NY, followed by a fellowship in HIV primary care at Montefiore Medical Center. As a family medicine physician, she prides herself on caring for individuals of all ages and backgrounds but is also particularly attuned to how life experiences shape health behaviors.
