We talked through all my questions and concerns, and Dr. Chan really took the time to listen. Most doctors I’ve visited lately are in a rush and you feel like you only have a few seconds of actual face time with them. (Not their fault, of course — medical offices are often overbooked and understaffed!) The front office/check-in was great here. I was helped right away and was only in the waiting room for like 3 minutes before I was taken back. I’d recommend Dr. Chan and staff to any friends or family in the city.”

Dr. Chan graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She currently works at Mount Sinai Primary Care Faculty Practice Associates.
Dr. Chan is board-certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in providing comprehensive patient care, which includes managing a wide range of medical conditions as well as preventive care. I called and called waiting to get into the web appointment and was not able to make any contact with the doctor regarding my issue. I will now have to go into the office to meet with a doctor to address my concerns.

Came for annual physical check. It’s funny that I pre-uploaded insurance card and drivers license in the system and they can’t verify me ahead of time then telling me to wait for insurance verification and reschedule my appointment cuz they used up all my “graceful time” to verify when I’m there. It SUCKS. I wonder who will actually choose hospital like this when your life in critical condition. The processing system and support teams are unreliable and untrustworthy.

Dr Chan is thorough, and takes time to listen to your concerns. Her assistant was personable and took vitals and ensured my chart was available. Short wait time and polite office staff. Dr Chan made some referrals for me and put a plan in place.

Dr. Chan is truly my favorite doctor ever. First of all, helping me out of my Covid era depression was a major challenge. Since seeing Dr. Chan, my life has improved markedly. I am happier, skinnier, and I drink less. I can’t believe how many annual physicals I put off before Dr. Chan… never again. A provider who listens and helps you leave feeling better, not worse. Awesome experience with Dr. Chan - I have already referred friends. Even though I am not queer I chose Dr. Chan for the positive LGBTQ reviews on Zocdoc hoping it would mean Dr. Chan was open minded and modern, and my expectations were surpassed! So many doctors still give inferior and skeptical treatment to women and I am so happy to say that Dr. Chan broke that mold in my mind. I am on one prescription from another doctor that Dr. Chan was not familiar with and would not prescribe but maybe it will be more well known in the future. I would love to have all of my treatment with one practitioner. Still, I appreciate a doctor who doesn’t over prescribe. Overall, highly recommended.
