“I had not seen an audiologist for a year and a half. Dr. Wyss contacted me to let me know how to get records from my prior provider who had retired so I had copies of my prior hearing test. They gave me another hearing test and checked and corrected mechanical aspects of my current hearing aids. After my hearing test, my hearing aid settings were adjusted so I could hear better. It was an excellent experience.”

About Dr. Alison Wyss
Dr. Alison Wyss, Au.D., CCC-A, earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University in 2007, followed by her Doctor of Audiology degree from the same institution in 2010. She spent over a decade as a clinical audiologist with a local ENT practice before deciding to transition into private practice.
Dr. Wyss enjoys connecting with her patients and learning what motivates them to improve their hearing. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association. When not seeing patients at Meridian Audiology, Dr. Wyss cherishes time at home with her husband Ben, their two children, Luke and Julia, and their rescue pup Sophie. She looks forward to meeting you soon and helping you hear all there is to love about life!

Dr. Wyss wanted to know my story. I recounted the last 18 months, and I never felt rushed. She asked multiple questions during my story, and also demonstrated a superb knowledge of my description of symptoms. She also acknowledged my knowledge of my conditions, emotions, and concerns. She appreciated the medical file I brought to her office. And finally, she articulated my options wonderfully with both detailed descriptions of the products and the procedures used for dispensing, fitting, and routine followups. Finally, I found her recognition of my limited insurance coverage very refreshing.

Alison is very caring and personable. I saw her before she started her own practice. I am traveling to see her from the south side. I have a cochlear implant in my right ear and need a left hearing aid as well. She can make them work together in sync for my benefit. There aren’t many audiologists that do this. She is definitely worth the trip and goes above and beyond.

Highly recommend Meridian Audiology! Ally (Dr. Wyss) is an amazing audiologist, genuine and knowledgeable. She walked me through my tinnitus symptoms and remedies very thoughtfully, giving me a range of options from holistic to technical. I walked out feeling reassured and really appreciative of her medical advice.
