“Best! I’ve seen a handful of Doctors for a long time. My Psychiatrist left his last job and I was searching for someone who could help with my RX refills. I initially planned on trying Allen once then finding where my Psychiatrist went. After my first appointment with him I decided to hold off. He’s super down to earth. Really listened to all my concerns and made me feel at ease. He also has a secretary you can text anytime. That’s also a huge plus! My last Dr at Clarity Clinic I had to email them and then he would get back to me. It took forever and wasn’t super comfortable having someone else read my emails to him. If you’re looking for a super great and reliable Dr Allen is your dude!! He also does only zoom which is soooooo perfect for these types of appointments. Thanks Allen and your Secretary! She is so patient, sweet and understanding. ”

Getting to know Allen Cortado
I am a dual certified Nurse Practitioner. Board-certified as a PMHNP (psychiatric mental health) and FNP (family practice). Master Psychopharmacology certified from NEI and certified in treating ADHD from PESI (ADHD-CCSP). Alumni of Purdue Global University and Rocky Mountain University. I have worked in multiple settings such as Retail Clinic, Psychiatry, home health, neurology, bariatrics/bariatric surgery, medical weight-loss. I am currently licensed as a prescriber in the state of WA, MT, AZ, CO, IL, NV, HI, TX and WI with a focus in psychiatry and family practice.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is to really get a good history of what the problem is so I can help you feel the best you. I believe that knowing my clients more will help me help them more by not missing even the tiniest detail. I think that if I can describe myself i would pick the words efficient, caring and conservative. Key to practicing Medicine is to prescribe the least amount of medicine possible that will result to positive desired outcomes.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
