About Dr. Allen Rosenbaum
Dr. Allen Rosenbaum is from Chicago, IL and graduated from University of Illinois-Champaign, earning a B.S. in psychology. He obtained his medical degree from University of Illinois. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Lutheran General Hospital and gastroenterology fellowship training at Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Medical Center.
Dr. Rosenbaum is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in general gastroenterology and colon cancer screening, as well as endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. He has leadership experience on a hospital board of directors as well as medical staff president at a local hospital.

The doctor was honest with me when he told me he wasn't sure what was causing my issue, but he was still gonna do his best to help me!!! And thanks to him i think I'm finally on the road to recovery. He really does listen to you and genuinely wants to help, im so great full I found him. I booked a same day appointment and was seen very quickly. He was so invested into trying to figure out what was wrong with me and my peculiar symptoms that my appointment lasted over an hour! My case was not ordinary and he told me he had never seen anything like me before. So if you have more common issues, I bet he will be able to help you!!! 1000/10 would recommend

Dr. Rosenbaum has amazing bedside manner. Listened to all of my concerns, took notes, examined me throughly, asked all the right questions and then he broke down the treatment and follow-up plan in great detail. I’m always skeptical when it comes to seeing new doctors as I am a nurse myself (we are the worse patients), but Dr. Rosenbaum was great. I would definitely recommend him and will be back to see him. Staff was very nice as well. Glad I found Dr. Rosenbaum.

I was disappointed with my appointment. I felt unheard and dismissed. When asked about things I had tried in the past I specified why they hadn’t worked for me. The doctor really had no other option for me but to try the same thing again. I was also dissatisfied with the advice given that I was and had been ALREADY been following for years. “I visited the doctor for stomach pain, and I received excellent care despite being a foreigner with limited English skills. The doctor made a real effort to understand me, listened patiently, and communicated calmly. The doctor is truly professional and compassionate toward patients like me.

Dr. Rosenbaum and his staff are great. He is clearly a fantastic doctor. His bedside manner is great and he was very thorough. I was expecting a 5-10 min consult, but he spent about 30-40 minutes with me in the room. He made sure to go over my family history very thoroughly and double checked all the symptoms that I was experiencing. He was able to schedule me for a procedure next month that the hospital would not have been able to do until 8 months at the earliest. He's a great doctor, in a great facility, with a great sense of humor, and has awesome staff. I would highly recommend seeing him.

I was able to get an appointment on short notice. Once I checked in at the front desk, it was only a few minutes until I was called in. Dr. Rosenbaum was very laid back and calm, and listened to all my symptoms and concerns. He explained everything and gave me a plan moving forward, which eased my mind. All in all, no complaints here!

Dr. Rosenbaum is a very experienced gastroenterologist. He spent a lot of time with me, asked a lot of questions, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He is a part of a group of doctors who have recently opened up this office. Professional friendly staff, excellent appointment, the doctor was right on time. Dr. Rosenbaum is my now my new gastroenterologist. My experience with Online scheduling websites is mediocre. I was very surprised that using Zocdoc was so easy. I was able to get an appointment in two days where with my doctors I have to often wait several months.
