Getting to know Allison Gajownik

Hi, I'm Allison. I am a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health, with a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and a Master's in Family Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. In this capacity, I provide both medication management and psychotherapy. Prior to working exclusively in mental health, I was a primary care provider and worked with my patients to be their very best, both physically and mentally. I look forward to working with you in that same holistic approach. I believe that mental health is not completely separate from the rest of healthcare, and I work hard to reduce stigma surrounding mental health disorders. I believe that a person can only attain physical health by addressing mental health concerns first, which is why I decided to focus my practice on mental health. I am known by my patients for being thorough, compassionate, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental. I am very excited to meet you and work with you to be the best version of you possible!

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal is for patients to feel like they were heard, and to walk away from each session feeling at least a little better than they did prior.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
