I am committed to helping people address symptoms and difficulties compassionately and in ways that are tailored to the individual. I will listen carefully to you and make every effort to understand your unique preferences and needs. I have expertise in both psychotherapy and medication treatments and will work with you to find the treatment plan that suits you best. My aim in psychotherapy is to help individuals relieve painful symptoms, achieve emotional freedom, and improve interpersonal relationships. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed my residency in Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center. I also hold a certificate in Psychoanalysis from the William Alanson White Institute and have been trained in Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Supportive styles of psychotherapy. In addition to private practice, I worked as a clinician-researcher at the Family Center for Bipolar at Beth Israel for five years. This experience gives me unique insight into treating bipolar disorder and working with families. I am passionate about helping people overcome barriers to achieving health-related goals while embracing the Health At Every Size philosophy. I am knowledgeable about ancestral health approaches to diet and lifestyle and have a keen interest in the relationship between mental health, technology, and "geek" culture.

Very good! Kind and friendly. Would go back.
She is empathetic and supportive, but doesn't hesitate to be frank and straightforward when necessary. I get the sense that nothing surprises her anymore. This is a wonderful quality in a psychiatrist. I would recommend her to anyone.
    Excellent. Thank you very much!
I worked with Dr. Lee for five years. Prior to that, I had been working with a variety of mental health professionals on and off for about 10 years. Of all the doctors and psychotherapists with whom I have worked, Dr. Lee is outstanding in her compassion, caring, competence, and ethics. She truly cares about her patients, and it shows in her psychiatric and therapeutic work, as she helped me move from a very difficult point in my life to a much more stable, grounded, and satisfied place. She follows best practices, yet remains very open-minded about trying new approaches. Oh, and she is always punctual. That helps.
I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Lee. She is an excellent listener, and asks good questions. She is professional, experienced and knowledgeable.
