“The receptionists were very friendly and quick to verify my information. The assistant of the PA came and got me, and the PA came five minutes later. She was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. She described everything amazingly and it was easily understandable. The online patient portal was easy to understand and they told me what I needed to fill out for the appointment.”

About Allison Scaduto

Allison Scaduto received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University, formerly Beaver College, in Philadelphia. She received her Bachelor in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Biology from Ursinus College in suburban Philadelphia. As a Physician Assistant student, Allison was able to focus on dermatology, spending clinical hours with Derm Dx, a multi-office group with locations across Northeastern Pennsylvania. Allison joined the staff in 2004 and splits her time between our Greenbelt and Chevy Chase offices. Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Allison now resides in Bethesda, Maryland.

This review will probably be amended and or deleted but at the moment I am feeling anxious about it. I had the appointment in late August. The results of a skin biopsy showed skin cancer. I have heard nothing from the practice about this or about having a follow up appointment. Initially I was blocked from seeing a doctor when I showed up for my appointment because they could not figure out my insurance. In part this was medicare's problem. They showed themselves as the secondary provider when they were actually the primary. The other though was the offices problem. I have seen other doctors here and not had this issue. For some reason the secondary provider was giving their address for billing rather than the name of the insurer. Again, this was not a problem for anyone else. My main concern though is their lack of communication and not being given a follow up for the surgery that is needed.
