Allison Zeafla, MSN

Family Nurse Practitioner
1285 Virginia Ave, North Bend, OR
Allison Zeafla, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC earned her nursing degree from Florida Keys Community College in Key West, FL, and completed her Master’s degree and Family Nurse Practitioner training at Frontier Nursing University. She has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years, working primarily in Critical Care and as a Hospital House Supervisor, and spent most of her career as a travel nurse. The majority of Allison’s experience has been in chronic illness management, which led her to take a strong interest in root-cause and holistic medicine. Functional Medicine became important to her through her own health journey and that of her immediate family. Looking into the root cause of illness and discovering alternative ideas and treatments made sense to her and felt right. She began taking Functional Medicine courses online while in FNP school, with plans to combine it into her style of practice and offer patients options in their plan of care. Allison keeps an open mind about combining alternative therapies with traditional care. Outside of work, Allison loves spending time with her family, including her husband and adult children. The family spent many years travel nursing and took their children to all 50 states before moving to Oregon in 2019. She and her husband are now building a small homestead farm just outside of Coos Bay, where they raise chickens, goats, and turkeys and keep dogs and cats, with plans to add larger animals in the near future. Allison also spends a lot of time tending her garden and enjoys learning about sustainable living.
