“She listened and asked really great follow up questions. She explained her reasoning behind her suggestions and recommendations really well! I really appreciated that she didn’t want to run multiple tests and schedule several appointments, but rather take baby steps and see if the issue can get resolved first before taking a more aggressive approach. ?”

The doctor that I saw was very rushed and did not listen to my concerns ?

The whole appt from vitals to end took less than 30 mins. The overall experience seemed dismissive and I didn’t feel comfortable going over the concerns I had.
I will not be returning to this practice. I waited for over an hour to be seen, and when I met Dr. K., she had not read my file. I would have let that go, had she not been so argumentative and condescending. During the visit, she prescribed an antibiotic before confirming a UTI, and ignored the four previous negative urinalysis + two rounds of antibiotics that I have received. When I also mentioned the pain fluctuates with my menstrual cycle, she responded that she was, “not sure how that is relevant,” which is dismissive of evidence that an internist should be considering. I left the appointment feeling unheard, rushed, and unsupported for unexplained bladder pain that I am rescheduling my life around.

The provider came across as rude. She didn’t listen to my complaints and seemed to judge me for my diagnoses. She literally told me I had been anorexic several months prior. As someone who was diagnosed with anorexia at age 19 at a weight of 75 pounds, to be told I was “anorexic” at a weight of 120 pounds with a BMI at that point of 21 was extremely rude and condescending. I literally went home in tears. I would avoid this provider at all costs.
