About Dr. Aluko Jervis
Dr. Aluko O. Jervis is a podiatrist serving the Staten Island community with in-office visits for the past 20 years. He is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in May 2004. He completed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital in July 2007. Dr. Jervis is proficient in all phases of podiatry, foot surgery, and wound care, including diabetic foot care and treatment of venous leg ulcerations.
He currently serves as the program director of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy unit at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used for conditions such as chronic diabetic foot wounds, compromised skin grafts and skin flaps, chronic osteomyelitis, osteoradionecrosis, acute arterial insufficiency, and crush injuries.
Dr. Jervis offers treatments for a variety of foot conditions, including painful bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, ingrown and fungal toenails, diabetic nerve pain, and other issues affecting the foot and ankle. He welcomes patients of all ages and provides care with a great deal of compassion and professionalism.
