About Amanda Alexander
Amanda is an Augusta native and currently resides there with her husband and son. With a decade of nursing experience, she has had the privilege of working in both dermatology and critical care. Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Augusta State University, and recently obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals and families.
Amanda is passionate about dermatology, as she is given the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of skin conditions, ranging from chronic ailments to acute concerns. Additionally, she finds fulfillment in promoting preventive measures and educating patients about proper skincare routines to maintain healthy skin.
