Over my career, I have worked inpatient, outpatient, in the PHP setting, and in addiction medicine. I have worked in Virginia, Maryland, and Oregon. I work hand-in-hand with individuals to formulate comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans. I don't push medications; instead, I discuss medication options, risks and benefits, alternatives to medications, and provide supportive therapy. I enjoy working with individuals with a myriad of psychiatric diagnoses, including anxiety, panic disorder, social disorder, ODC, PTSD, skin picking/ excoriation disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD. I recognize that our sessions are a sacred space, in which people often make themself emotionally vulnerable. As such, I always approach my clients with respect and compassion. I have undergraduate degrees in both psychology and nursing, and decided to bridge the two with the psychiatric nurse practitioner certification. I greatly enjoy working in my field and bridging the worlds of physical and mental health. I want to hear what your top goals are for treatment. We will make those our priority and alter or change course as needed. Your treatment plan is a living document that can be adjusted as goals are met. We will come together to openly discuss your concerns, work on formulating a diagnosis, and put together a comprehensive treatment plan.
