“Dr. Cox was attentive to the specifics of our situation and clearly explained the tests she was going to do, and why she was going to do them. Everything went really well in our office. The only thing I would say is that the phlebotomist working in the pediatric office who took my toddler's blood seemed totally shocked that a toddler would scream and wiggle around when having blood taken, and was unable to communicate effectively, leading to unneeded anguish and bleeding for my son. I have never had such an experience before since most people in other offices who do this are very professional and capable of minimizing problems when doing tests on children. But everyone else in the office was excellent. ”

Dr. Cox was disappointing. I took my infant son for a possible peanut allergy and eczema. She did not look me in the eye or even make the motions of looking at my son while I was describing the reason for our visit. She interrupted me as I was explaining his eating habits, saying she was not up to that part yet, while inputting notes in the computer. She was not thorough, and did not explain next steps clearly. I would not recommend Dr. Cox to anyone with small children and a new diagnosis.
