What should a new client know about working with you?

Who do I help? I assist adults with anxiety, depression, and/or trauma. I work best with motivated individuals eager to foster personal growth. How do I help? I integrate talk therapy and EMDR techniques to support your healing journey. With extensive training in CBT and DBT, I will collaborate with you to develop a tailored treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. What do I specialize in? Anxiety, Depression, Relationships & Dating, Trauma, EMDR.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy sessions are 50min long and tailored to meet each individual patient's unique needs and goals. While each session may be different depending on the individual and their specific treatment plan, here is a general idea of what a typical therapy session might look like: Check-In: At the beginning of the session, I will likely ask you how you've been since your last session and if there's anything specific you'd like to discuss or work on during the session. Discussion: We will engage in a conversation about the topics or issues you're working on in therapy. I may ask questions to help you explore your thoughts and feelings about a particular situation or issue. Skill Building: Depending on the therapy approach being used, I may work with you to develop skills or coping strategies to help you manage your symptoms or improve your overall well-being. Homework: I may assign you "homework" between sessions, such as practicing a new coping skill or completing a thought record. Wrap-Up: At the end of the session, I will likely summarize what you discussed, review any homework assignments, and schedule your next appointment. It's important to note that therapy is a collaborative process, and I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific needs and goals. You are encouraged to ask questions, provide feedback, and communicate openly with me throughout the therapy process.
