Dr. Amanda L. Meltzer is a double-boarded Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatrist with more than 20 years of experience in mental health. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from UT Southwestern Medical Center, completed her internship and residency in Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, and pursued a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Meltzer now specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Adult Attention/Hyperactivity Disorders.

As you know, Adult ADHD has seen a surge in public awareness in recent years. Unfortunately, access to high-quality, reliable assessments remains limited. Virtual assessments have become common but their quality often falls short of the gold standard that you DESERVE.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
We’ve partnered with Mentavi Health to provide comprehensive, doctorate-level Adult ADHD assessments. Every patient is rigorously interviewed by a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in ADHD. Then, an independent, asynchronous psychological assessment is conducted to ensure further diagnostic accuracy. The result? A water-tight diagnostic report with detailed treatment recommendations returned to you in record time. From there we offer pharmacogenetic testing, medication management and patient advocacy services.

I struggled to find the right mental health provider for years. As I progressed in my health journey, I knew that I needed a psychiatrist who could manage my mental health disorders and work with me to discover a medication that worked.
I found this and much more with Dr. Meltzer. I initially came to her for an ADHD assessment because diagnoses for diagnoses I am almost the same as my older brother. Although I was disappointed I could not receive a yes diagnosis on the first visit, I sincerely appreciate her approach of looking at the entire mental health diagnosis so nothing gets missed. I am quickly discovering I am an onion, but Dr. Meltzer is up for the task of tackling the tricky. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a fresh perspective to mental health diagnoses.

Mrs. Meltzer is the best doctor I have ever had. She's attentive and spends a great deal of time with her patients while at the same time responding to messages almost instantly. I usually don't wait more than a day and usually it's within a few hours despite her having a full schedule. She gets an A++ from me.
