About Dr. Amber C Flynn
Amber Carissa “A.C.” Flynn, O.D. is a board-licensed comprehensive optometrist serving patients at our Newnan and Peachtree City locations. She offers a range of services including comprehensive eye exams with prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lens, and treatment of various ocular conditions such as dry eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, among others.
She earned her Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon after attending the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, Society and Environment. Dr. Flynn is an active member of the American Optometric Association and was the president of the National Optometric Student Association. Along with this, she also served on the Board of Directors for Literacy Minnesota and ended her time there as Finance Chair.
For Dr. Flynn, the most fulfilling aspect of being an optometrist is forging enduring connections with her patients. She cherishes the time spent with them in the clinic, as it allows her to build trust and establish strong relationships. By getting to know and understand her patients deeply, she can better address their visual needs and manage their ocular health effectively. Outside of work, Dr. Flynn loves to read fiction, take nature walks and morning spin classes. She also enjoys camping and exploring new restaurants with her wife and friends. One of her favorite past-times is volunteering, teaching adult basic education (GED) classes, conducting free vision screenings and litter clean up.
