Her care is grounded in more than 500 hours a year of supervision and case discussion with supervising psychiatrist Dr. Bernard Kim, MD, so the thinking behind your care reflects more than one mind. This is a deliberate alternative to the 15-minute med check. Amelia hopes to be a guide through each person's journey toward a mind that is a little more peaceful today than it was the day before. Her first visits are consultations rather than a rush toward an immediate prescription, and the relationships she builds are meant to last, often through the chapters of life. Outside of work she draws and paints, walks, travels, and enjoys the occasional reality show, and she once spent a semester in Granada, Spain, where she met her husband. Amelia joined Pondworks Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in February 2023.
