About Dr. Amy Basile
Dr. Basile earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA. She completed her undergraduate education at Duke University and received additional training at the Mailman School of Public Health.
She completed her dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI, a Michigan State University-affiliated program. Dr. Basile is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
A Connecticut native, Dr. Basile and her husband chose to settle near his family here in Pennsylvania after training all over the country. They have three school-age children who keep them very busy. Dr. Basile loves playing tennis, coordinating playdates, driving her children to all their events, and keeping the kitchen stocked for them around the clock. She enjoys traveling to Kauai and hopes to venture even farther away soon!

The experience was not bad but not great.
The nurse was training another nurse and I felt like I was a participant in a "study" without asking my permission.
the whole meeting they had their back to me and I needed to pause every time so they can do their training part.
Afterwards, I mat the doctor, and felt rushed and disregards.
my complains wasn't given any treatment, and I walked out frustrated, feeling like I waited my time coming.

The office is very clean and parking is easy. The front desk and nurses are super friendly, however the doctor talks and moves really quickly and was in and out of the room before I knew it - it left me feeling a little whiplashed. I was sent home with samples for two different issues and I am unsure of which goes with which. If you are looking for somewhere quick and efficient for a specific need, then this will work well but if you are looking to explore and ask questions this may not be the best fit.
