About Amy Peery
Amy is a Licensed Nurse Practitioner certified in family practice. She earned her Master’s in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Amy enjoys working with patients of all ages and believes in preventative healthcare and the power of therapeutic relationships. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Amy worked as a yoga instructor, an ICU nurse, and a clinical nursing instructor. When I go there they claimed they had no knowledge of my appointment and didn’t even apologize. They were very rude and unfriendly. Absolutely 0 empathy after I drove 2 hours to get there.

I hate needles with a passion. The idea of getting pricked 66 times in one sitting isn't exactly something I was looking forward to. Everyone made it as painless as possible in every aspect. This isn't my first time trying to get help for whatever is wrong with me, but it's the first time I've felt like I might actually figure it out. That's thanks to these people.

Would definitely recommend this office and Amy Peery! She listened to my concerns and was honest with her thoughts. She made me feel comfortable and heard where as the other allergist’s office I went to prior ignored my concerns and told me I was wrong. My issues may not be allergy related but Amy understood the fact I’ve been struggling for months now and was willing to help me cross this off the list of possible causes.
